White Clay Scrub with Montanov 68
White Clay Scrub with Montanov 68
Emulsified clay facial exfoliants are a dream to use. I much prefer them to powdered clay varieties where you have to mix with water to activate. Instead, these types of products are much less messy and more convenient. The following formulation is for a white clay scrub. It is an emulsion with high levels of clay and some non-ionic detergent surfactant to give a gentle foam. It contains jojoba oil to provide some emollient qualities, lavender hydrosol and frankincense essential oil to give a fresh yet herbal scent.
This is a minimalist formulation that can be adapted by swapping the oil for a similar oil, the hydrosol for another and the essential oil for any blend you wish.
This mask was made in February 2022 and has approximately 6 months real life stability testing.
